Age (As per the date mentioned in the Notification):

1. Junior Statistical Officer: 18 - 32 years
2. Assistant Section Officer (CSS, Railways, MEA, AFHQ)/SI in CBI: 20 - 30 Years
3. Assistant Enforcement Officer/SI in NIA/Divisional Accountant/Income Tax Inspector/Assistant Section Officer in IB/Inspector CBIC (Central Excise/Preventive Officer/Examiner) / Inspector of Posts / Inspector Central Bureau of Narcotics, Ministry of Finance /Executive Assistant CBIC/Research Assistant NHRC/Assistant in Other Ministries/Departments/Organizations: 18 - 30 years
4. All Other posts: 18 - 27 Years

Educational Qualification (As per the date mentioned in the Notification):

1. Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level or Bachelor’s degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
2. Statistical Investigator Grade II: Bachelor’s degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects. The candidate must have studied Statistics as a subject in all three years or all, of the 6 semesters of the graduation course.
3. Research Assistant in NHRC: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. Desirable: (i) Minimum one-year research experience in any recognized university (ii) Degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university
4. All other posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
