The CUET-PG consists of multiple exams for the various PG disciplines offered by central universities. COQP12 is the test meant for admissions for General MBA, Marketing & Finance Management, Tourism, Travel & Hotel Management, Business Analytics, Sales & Marketing etc., under the CUET.

Verbal Ability-
The English section comprised 22 Verbal Ability questions that tested the candidate's grammar, vocabulary, and verbal reasoning skills. The question types were as follows:
- Phrase replacement (seven easy-moderately difficult questions that tested the candidate's knowledge of phrasal verbs, verbs, and the like)
- Sentence completion (two moderately difficult questions)
- Para jumble (two easy-moderately difficult questions; one question with an easy-to-form paragraph, and another question that had slightly confusing sentences but easy options)
- Synonyms (two easy-moderately difficult questions; one with a headword, and another that directly asked what the synonym of the given word is)
- Antonyms (one easy question that directly asked what the antonym of the given word is)
- Idioms (three easy-moderately difficult questions; one sentence-based, one fill-in-the-blank type, and one that directly asked what the meaning of the given idiom is)
- Homonyms (one sentence-based, easy question)
- Word replacement (one sentence-based, moderately difficult question)
- One-word substitute (three easy-moderately difficult questions)
There were no Reading Comprehension questions. Overall, the English section was easy, and a well-prepared student could have accurately answered 16-18 questions.

Most of the questions were pretty straightforward, and the students who had conceptual clarity would have found them easy to manage. Overall, the difficulty level of this section can be deemed as easy to moderate, and around 22-24 can be considered to be a good number of attempts in this section.
Reasoning
There were 26 questions based on reasoning. These questions were from a variety of topics. Students who would have prepared well for CAT and other exams would have found them comfortable to handle. The only challenge would have been time management. While most of the questions were straightforward, a few tricky ones needed to be handled carefully.
