
DoMS (Department of Management Studies), NALSAR offers admission to its Integrated Program in Management (IPM) through IPMAT (Indore) and through its own entrance test, the NALSAR Management Entrance Test – UG (NMET-UG). Both are computer-based examinations. The NMET-UG aims to identify candidates with strong analytical abilities, quantitative competence, language proficiency, and business acumen.
Eligibility:
- The applicant should have completed Class XII or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) for general category; 50% for SC/ST candidates.
- A valid score in either the entrance test NMET (UG) or IPMAT (IIM Indore) is required.
- Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams are also eligible to apply contingent on results.
- For Telangana resident category seats, in addition to the above criteria, candidates must satisfy residency requirements.
NMET (UG) Entrance Test:
- Exam Name: NMET (UG) – NALSAR Management Entrance Test (UG)
- Total Marks: 100 Marks
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Mode: Computer-Based Test
- Test Centres: Conducted at designated centres across India.
Selection Process:
- Admissions are merit-based and consider performance in the entrance test (NMET UG/IPMAT) and the Personal Interview.
- The merit list is generally prepared with a weightage of 75% for the entrance exam and 25% for the Personal Interview.
- Candidates are shortlisted for the interview based on their entrance exam scores; if multiple exams are taken, the best score is considered.
- Separate intake and reservation policies apply for All India and Telangana resident students as per the official notification.
