MODE OF SELECTION
Admission to General Category
Normalization of Marks:
The marks obtained by the students in the relevant subjects in the qualifying
examination conducted by various Boards or Authority will be equated with the
marks obtained by the students in the same subjects in the qualifying
examination conducted by the State Board (Government of Tamil Nadu) by adopting
the method of normalization.
Other State Candidates:
The All India Pre-Medical/Pre Dental entrance examination is conducted
by the CBSE for admission to 15% of the total seats for
Medical/Dental courses in all Medical/Dental colleges.
Age Limit
Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission
or would complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of admission
to the first year course. Admission process is a sole discretion of the
Government of Tamilnadu, it is subject to change every year.
