Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), situated at Thiruvananthapuram is a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. IIST functions as an autonomous body under the Department of Space, Government of India.

Eligibility -
Indian citizenship
Age limit:
32 years as on 30.04.2017. Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ST/Persons with disability (PD)
category as per Government of India Orders. No age relaxation for OBC and women candidates
Educational Qualification & Eligibility:
B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc/M.S. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 out of 10 for General & OBC category and minimum of 55% marks or CGPA 6.0 out of 10 for SC/ST& PD category . A valid score in GATE/JEST/UGC NET in relevant area as the case may be, as specified above is essential.

On line application with a fee of Rs.600/- per Department (for SC, ST, PD and women candidates Rs.300/- per Department).
