IIM Calcutta, XLRI become members of GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council)

IIM Calcutta and XLRI are two Indian Institutes that have joined the GMAC bandwagon. They join the likes of IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Lucknow, ISB Hyderabad, NMIMS University's School of Business Management, Great Lakes Institute of Management, and S P Jain Institute of Management & Research – 8 institutes which have been members of GMAC.

Both IIM Calcutta and XLRI Jamshedpur have been accepting the GMAT Score for their Executive MBA programs for candidates with more than 5 years of work experience. The PGPEX Course of IIM Calcutta and the GMP (General Management Program) of XLRI Jamshedpur are two globally renowned one year residential full time MBA programs for working executives. Their induction as GMAC Member Schools will help make these B-Schools’ association with GMAC even more stronger and symbiotically beneficial. Access to GMAC’s market research data and trends as well as research about changes in the GMAT Exam will be readily available to the B-Schools. The latest development comes as a boost to GMAC’s efforts in reaching out to B-Schools permitting shared platforms for student data and admission test promotion. About 211 schools are GMAC members globally.

GMAT has been accepted by the AICTE as an admission test for admission into many MBA Schools in India.
