Punjab and Sind Bank has released the notification for the engagement of Apprentices. Total number of training seats is 100.

(A) Important Dates :

Online Registration : 16.10.2024 and 31.10.2024.

(B) Eligibility Criteria (as on 31.10.2024) :

Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from the recognized University / Institutes approved by Govt. of India or its regulatory bodies.

The apprentice should be proficient in the local language (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Understanding) of State / UT. The apprentice should produce 8th/10th/12th or Graduate Level standard mark sheet / certificate evidencing having studied one of the languages as local language.

Age (as on 01.10.2024): Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years

(C) Duration of Training and Stipend :

The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs. 9000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances / benefits.

(D) Selection Procedure :

(i) The candidates shall be required to register an online application on the bank's website with 12th percentage (HSC/10+2). Merit list for engagement of apprentices will be prepared State-wise in descending order on the basis of marks / percentage obtained in 12th (HSC/10+2) examination, in case more than one candidate having the same percentage, such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.

(ii) Students who have completed Post Graduate qualification are not eligible for Apprenticeship training.

(iii) Students with work experience of one year or more are not eligible to apply. Candidates should not have completed five years after passing the qualifying examination.

(E) Application Fee:

UR / EWS / OBC ................... 200 + GST

SC / ST / PWD ................... 100 + GST
