United India Insurance Company Limited has announced the recruitment of 300 Assistants. Last time the notification for same posts was released in 2017. When compared to the notification released in 2017, the following changes have been seen in the newly released notification for 2023.

• As far as Online Test is concerned, the two stage online exam pattern, Tier I and Tier II has been done away with. Only a single Online Test will be conducted
• Age limit is changed to 21-30 Years, from 18-28 Years
• Fee for applying Online is doubled !!

(A) Important Dates :

Online Registration : 16.12.2023 - 06.01.2024
Online Examination : To be notified later
Download of Call Letters : 10 days prior to the date of examination

Note : Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only and will have Online test to opt for a Centre of that particular state.

(B) Eligibility Criteria (as on 30.09.2023) :

(a) Educational Qualification : Graduate from a recognized University AND Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional language of the State of Recruitment is essential.

(b) Age: 21 - 30 years,

Relaxation in Age / percentage of marks for reserved category as per rules.

(C) Selection Procedure:

The selection process will consist of On-line examination (Single Exam). Candidates

qualifying in the Online Examination will be further shortlisted for Regional Language test before final selection.

The pattern of the Online Test is given below.

(D) Final Selection :

Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the On-line Main Examination subject to

qualifying the Regional Language Test. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a

candidate to be called for On-line Examination and Regional Language Test.

(E) Application Fee :

• SC / ST / Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), Permanent Employees of COMPANY : Rs.250
• All Applicants other than SC / ST / PwBD, Permanent Employees of COMPANY : rs1000

(F) Probation : The newly appointed employees will be on probation for a minimum period of 6 months.
