The Phase2 for NEET 2016 was held on 24th July from 10:00am to 1:00pm. There were four booklet versions - PP, QQ, RR and SS. Questions and choices were jumbled in these four versions.

The test had 180 questions - Question No.1 to 45 was Physics, Q.46 to 90 was Chemistry and Q.No.91 to 180 was Biology. All were of 'Single Answer Multiple Choice Question' type. Each question, 4 marks will be awarded for correct response and for each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted. Hence, the maximum marks is 720.

The difficulty level of Phase 2 was more or less same as that of NEET Phase1. Many students commented that Chemistry was especially tough.
