After so many uncertainties and a postponement, the day finally arrived all of us have been waiting for so eagerly. NTA conducted the first JIPMAT 2021 exam for admission to the IPM course offered by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. The exam was conducted on 10th Aug in the afternoon shift from 3 to 5:30 PM. The test was a computer-based test with a total of 100 questions. The questions were spread across three sections – Quantitative Ability (QA), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC) with 33, 33, and 34 questions respectively. Order of sections was also pre-defined. The total time duration was 150 minutes without any sectional time limit. Each question carried 4 marks and there was a negative marking of 1 mark for each of the wrong responses. Sectional cut-off applied in all the three areas which means that the test-takers were expected to show their competence in all the sections.
