IBPS has released the call letter for IBPS PO Preliminary Examination.
This is the second round of Exam for IBPS PO which is being conducted. IBPS has re-opened the registration link for recruitment to PO/MT posts in Oct. In this regard, IBPS had released a Supplementary Advertisement in Oct.
This process is only for the following categories of applicants.
- Who attained eligibility in terms of educational qualifications by 11.11.2020.
- Who could not register successfully from 05.08.2020 to 26.08.2020.

The Prelim Online Examination is tentatively scheduled for 05.01.2021/06.01.2021
Structure of Examination (ONLINE):
(a) Pattern of Exam:
(I) Preliminary Examination (Online Test): The test will have three Objective Tests (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Note : Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.
(II) Main Examination (Online Test): This will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 25 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.
(i) Objective Test: The objective test of 3 hours duration consists of 4 Sections for total 200 marks.

(ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 25 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
(b) Penalty for wrong answers : There will be negative marks (Prelim and Main Exams) for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
(c) MARKS OBTAINED IN THE ONLINE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND ALSO FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING
(d) Interview: Candidates who have been short listed in Main Examination will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the short listed candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters www.ibps.in
(e) Interview Marks : The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE ( Main Exam) and interview will be 80:20.
