IIM Nagpur has announced that it would be commencing operations from this academic year. They would have an intake of 60 for this year.

 IIM Nagpur has sent email to shortlisted candidates for their first batch of PGP program. There is no separate application form for IIM Nagpur. They are considering candidates who had opted for proposed new IIMs while filling up CAT 2014 application form. 

 The following are the official cutoffs for calls given for the 2nd stage and division of seats for each of the categories

The tuition fee will be around 10 lacs. IIM Ahmedabad will act as a mentor for IIM Nagpur for the first three years. Till IIM Nagpur finishes the process of recruitment of full-time faculty members, the classes would be handled by faculty members of IIM Ahmedabad, as well visiting faculty members ( who would be selected by IIM A ).

 IIM Nagpur will be starting off in a temporary location at campus of VNIT. In about three years, they are scheduled to shift to permanent campus for which 200 acres has been already sanctioned by the government. Hostel facility will be provided to all the students, which is just few hundred meters away from the classrooms.
