T.I.M.E Chennai announces a special Batch for the Aspirants of the TANGEDCO Examination announced by TANGEDCO. The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited is an electrical power generation and distribution public sector undertaking that is owned by the Government of Tamil Nadu. It was formed on 1 November 2010 under section 131 of the Electricity Act of 2003, and is the successor to the erstwhile Tamil Nadu Electricity Board. The electricity board's generation and distribution wings are its nucleus. TANGEDCO is a subsidiary of TNEB Limited.
TANGEDCO, through its NOTIFICATION NO: 02/2020 DATED: 08.01.2020, has announced a special recruitment for 600 posts of ASSISTANT Engineers.

- Weekdays- (3 Days in a Week): 06:00 – 07:30 & 19:00 – 21:00
- Weekends – (Saturday & Sunday): 09:00 – 18:00

ONLINE EXAMINATION (CBT): The question paper for ONLINE EXAMINATION (Computer based test) will be of Objective type in the Engineering standard. For Electrical Engineering itwill be in English and for Mechanical and Civil it will be in English as well as Tamil.
