IIM Kozhikode has released the following information in their media release about CAT 2019 examination.

• CAT 2019 will be conducted on Nov 24, 2019 ( Sunday ).
• The test will be conducted in two sessions. The registration for the exam will start from Aug 7, 2019 and the last date to register will Sep 25(5 PM), 2019.
• The applicants will be able to download their admit card from Oct 23, 2019 onward.
• CAT 2019 will be conducted across 156 cities ( CAT 2018 was conducted in 147 cities ).

The duration of the test will be 180 minutes. There will be three sections

1. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
2. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and
3. Quantitative Ability

Candidates will be allotted exactly 60 minutes for answering questions in each section and they will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section.

The exact number of questions in each section has not been released yet. Though last year too this information was revealed initially but the number of questions had remained the same as the year before.

The CAT 2019 website will be made available from July 28 onward.
