Kerala Engineering Entrance 2019 Paper1 with was held on 2nd May and Paper2 was conducted on 3rd May. Paper1 had 72 questions in Physics and 48 questions in Chemistry. Paper2 had 120 questions in Mathematics. All questions were single correct multiple choice question type with 5 choices. Correct response will fetch 4 marks and wrong response will be penalised with -1 marks. Hence, the maximum marks possible in Paper1 and Paper2 combined is 960.

Paper1 had Physics as relatively easy, where as Chemistry was very tough for most of the students. At the same time, Paper2 (Mathematics) was rated as "doable" by the students.
