SRMJEEE(UG) 2019

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) is one of the well known universities in India and offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Engineering, Management, Medicine and Health sciences, and Science and Humanities. The University has its own Engineering Entrance Examination called SRMJEEE through which students are admitted to B.Tech programmes.

Engineering programmes are being offered in the following campuses:

Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Gazhiabad , Amaravati, Haryana

Admission Criteria:

For majority of the programs, admission is done through National level entrance examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) called SRMJEEE or by authorized /statutory boards or agencies.

Any Candidate qualified in IIT JEE Main/SAT will be admitted directly even if the candidate doesn't take SRMJEEE.

SRMJEEE (UG) will be conducted online from 15 April, 2019 - 25 April, 2019

Eligibility for B.Tech Programs (Duration: 4 years)

(a) Nationality and Age

Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE (UG).

Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India who has not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under International student category only.

Candidates should have attained the age of 16 + on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held. Qualifying Examination:

Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM

(i) Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS

(ii) GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate(IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects (equivalent to Advanced Placement level in each subject) in any International schools within India

SRMJEEE (UG) 2019

Candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the SRMJEEE (UG) are eligible for all the B.Tech. degree programs and also relevant programs in Health Sciences (UG).

    • Application will be kept open for editing except email id and mobile no. during April 05, 2019 – April 10, 2019 for SRMJEEE – UG.
    • Course/Campus preference selected at the time of application is only for statistical purposes, the actual course preference can be selected at the time of counseling based on SRMJEEE - All India Rank and availability of seats.

  2. Online with Demand Draft

    • Application to be filled online and the same can be downloaded and sent to the university with the DD for Rs.`1100/- drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai. This has to reach before the last date. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD and send to:

    • Kancheepuram District,
    • Tamil Nadu 603203.
    • The application will be processed only upon receipt of the DD.
    • Cost of Online application form is Rs.1100/-
    • Cost of Offline application form is Rs.1160/-

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be invited for counselling session based on the score obtained in SRMJEEE (UG). Candidates can choose their preferred specialization/branch of study in a particular campus based on

(a) Merit List based on Score obtained.

(b) fulfilling the programme-specific eligibility criteria for a particular campus

(c) subject to the availability of seats at that point of time.

Upon selection of specialization/branch full tuition fees and other applicable fees have to be paid at the time of counselling. Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL) will be issued to confirm the candidate's admission.

Scholarship

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) offers several scholarships, fee waiver schemes, teaching and research assistance to meritorious and deserving students.
