The deadline for submission of application forms for CAT 2016 has been extended by 5 days. The new deadline is Sep 27, 2016 ( 5 pm ).

Moreover, from Oct 1 to Oct 5, 2016 applicants will be allowed to correct certain mistakes in application forms which have already been submitted.

Note - According to official CAT 2016 website, you cannot edit certain personal details like Name, Date of Birth, email id, mobile number etc., at any stage in the application process (either before or after submitting the application). If you have made a mistake in these details, you must register again with a new email ID. Your CAT 2016 application will be considered for the latest registration and the Admit Card will be issued for the same.

You can edit some personal details, such as Communication Address, gender, category, educational information, work experience, or exam city preferences etc., until you have not submitted the Application Form. To do so, click the Existing User Login option on the CAT website.

After you submit the application, there will be a limited time window during which can you modify very limited details like Percentage of Marks scored, Work Experience, Programmes Selected etc.You will not be able to modify any of the following: any details entered in the Personal Details section, any details entered in the Academics section except the percentage marks scored, Exam Centre City Preferences.
