IIM A’s FABM program ranked number 1 in the world

IIM Ahmedabad’s 2 year post-graduate programme in food and agri-business management (PGP-FABM) has been awarded first rank in the world for the year 2018. The programme has been ranked number one by a France based ranking agency Eduniversal.

What is Eduniversal?

Eduniversal which is based in Paris is a global ranking and rating agency specializing in higher education. The company has established strong expertise in evaluating academic institutions and programs in France since 1994, and internationally since 2007.

What is PGP-FABM?

PGP-FABM is a two-year full-time residential programme that covers, apart from agriculture, allied areas such as food processing, commodities and rural development sector, and rural infrastructure. The objective of the Post Graduate Programme in Food and Agri-Business Management is to transform young men and women into competent professional managers for the agriculture, food, agri-business, rural and allied sectors. The programme caters to the needs of enterprises serving these sectors, both domestic and international.Every year around 45 students are selected for the course. These students received very good placements at the end of the program. Last year the PGP-ABM students received median salary of 16.1 Lacs p.a. where as the highest salary offered to these students was 27 Lacs p.a.

Those interested in joining PGP-FABM program need to appear for CAT examination. Once shortlisted, the students need to attend WAT/PI rounds.
