For the first time, the exam was conducted in the computer-based format. The total duration of the exam was 150 minutes. The exam was an objective multiple choice question paper divided into 5 sections viz., Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge having a total of 150 questions with 30 questions in each of the sections. Each question had 4 options and carried one mark each. There was no negative marking for wrong answers.

Logical Reasoning

The questions in this section were of moderate difficulty level. The questions were from areas like Data Sufficiency, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relationship, Puzzles, Calendar, Arrangement, Odd-one out, Analogies.

A score of 22-24 can be considered a good score in this section.

Legal Reasoning

The section on Legal Reasoning also did not pose a very high challenge. The questions only required a careful reading as a majority of them were based on principles-facts. Questions were also asked on static Legal GK, Assertion-Reasoning, and the ones having only facts.

There was a dominance of questions from Contracts, Criminal Law, Torts and Constitution, however a few questions were from miscellaneous topics also.

A score of 21-23 can be considered to be a fairly good score.

Analytical Reasoning

Overall, the section on Logical Reasoning was an easy one. The questions were based on Selections, Circular arrangements, Letter Series, Analogies, Puzzles, Arithmetic, and Verbal Reasoning (Inference based, Strong-weak arguments, etc). One could have spent 20-22 minutes in this section and attempted 23-25 questions.

Reading Comprehension

The section on Reading Comprehension was relatively an easier section. All the five passages were doable as most of them had direct and easy questions. There were three passages with three questions each and the last two having seven and eight questions respectively. A student should have done well in this section to give a boost to the overall score. About 22-24 questions in this section can be considered to be a good number of attempts.

General Knowledge

The GK section had easy to moderately difficult questions ranging from static GK to current affairs, however the later one had a dominance over the former one. The questions were taken from the topics like Personalities, International news/forums, Awards, Science & Technology, etc. An score of 20-22 can be considered to be a good score in this section.

A total score of about (110 +/- 3) can be considered as expected cut-off for the Pune campus.
