IBPS SO 2017 Notification Out

IBPS has released the detailed notification for conducting the ​7​th CWE for recruitment of Specialist Officers in 20 Public Sector Banks. ​IBPS has changed the pattern of the exam when compared to that of the exam held in 2016. The following are the key changes.

  • ​Two stage exam - Prelim and Main. The exam conducted in 2016 was a single level exam.
  • The number of questions are 50 in each of the three test areas of the Prelim exam.
  • The Main Exam has only one section ie the section on Professional Knowledge.

Negative Marking​ ( Prelim and Main)​ : There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.

​​N​ote : MARKS OBTAINED IN THE ONLINE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND ALSO FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING

​(E) ​Common Interview : ​

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online CWE (Main Exam) and interview will be 80:20 respectively

(F) ​Application Fee :​

  • Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • Rs. 600 /- for all others
