Paper 1
The Paper1 of Kerala Medical Entrance was held on 27th April, 2016. There were four versions for the paper - A1, A2, A3 and A4. Q.No. 1 to 72 was Chemistry and Q.No. 73 to 120 was Physics in all versions of the paper.
There were 5 choices given for each question. All questions were 'Single Correct Multiple Choice' type. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Both Physics and Chemistry questions were difficult when compared to the questions for Engineering entrance 2016. Some of the students felt that a few questions were of JEE Main level.

Paper 2
The second paper for Kerala Medical Entrance was held on 28th April, 2016. There were four versions for the test booklet - B1, B2, B3 and B4. The test paper had 120 questions from 11th and 12th std syllabus of Biology (Botany & Zoology).
All the questions were 'Single Correct Answer' type multiple choice questions. They had 5 choices. Each correct answer carried 4 marks and each incorrect answer will carry -1 mark. There were a few tricky questions in which unless proper logic is applied, student may end up in choosing the wrong answer.

There were 5 choices given for each question. All questions were 'Single Correct Multiple Choice' type. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Most of the questions in Chemistry were of "Easy" and "Medium" difficulty level. There are very few questions which can be termed as "Difficult". But students felt that the Physics part was tougher than the usual Kerala entrance pattern.
