RMCAAT is an entrance test for admission into the three-year MCA course for Institutions of Rajasthan affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. The total number of seats in 2014 is 4200 in 43 colleges (8 governament colleges and 35 private institutes). RMCAAT is usually held in May/ June every year. RMCAAT-2014 was conducted on 18th May 2014.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

The candidates must possess (10+2) at school level with mathematics and Graduation (3 years duration) in any subject from any recognized University or Graduation (10+2+3 years duration) in any subject with mathematics as one subject from any recognized University, with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and Non creamy layer OBC / SBC candidates), without any approximation in the Graduate Examination. Candidates with BCA, B.Sc. (IT) & B.Sc. (Comp. Science) degrees are eligible for the requirements of mathematics.

DOMICILE CRITERIA:

The RMCAAT is open to the candidates of Rajasthan Domicile only.

EXAMINATION SCHEME:

RMCAAT, a paper based test, consists of single examination of two hours duration containing total number of 200 objective type questions as shown in the follow ing table. Each question will carry one mark each. There is no negative marking for wrong answer. The questions in the test booklet will be in English only.
