Pondicherry University is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in October 1985. The University also has campuses at Karaikal and Port Blair which currently offer P.G. and Doctoral programmes.

Admission to M.C.A. is based on the performance in the Entrance Examination.

The entrance examination is of objective type. The question paper will consist of 100 questions

Eligibility:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/ Corporate Secretaryship/ Economics / Business Administration with Mathematics/ Business Mathematics / Statistics /Computer Applications as one of the subjects or Bachelor’s degree in Science with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 55% marks

Application Forms:

In Person: The application forms can be obtained from the Pondicherry University Staff Co-operative Credit Society at the University campus on payment of the cost of the application form Rs. 50/- plus Rs. 10/- as service charge.
By Post: For application form by post write with course name to the Deputy Registrar (Academic II), Dr BR Ambedkar Administrative Building, Pondicherry University, RV Nagar, Kalapet, Puducherry - 605 014 along with a self addressed envelope of size 32cmx25cm, stamped for Rs 90/- and demand draft for the prescribed application fee drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Pondicherry University, payable at Puducherry.
Through Online: Application form can be submitted online through the University Website.Hard copy (in A4 size) along with the original bank challan for the prescribed fee has to be sent to the University.
