The Jawaharlal Nehru University, which came into existence in 1969, has 13 schools of inter disciplinary research and teaching besides some special centres of study.

The three year MCA programme is designed to provide necessary theoretical background and practical experience in Computer Science and Applications to meet the growing man power requirements in automatic computing.

Eligibility:Bachelor’s degree with atleast 55% marks in any discipline with adequate competence in Mathematics under 10 + 2 + 3 pattern of education.

Type of paper:Multiple choice objective type questions with 4 marks for each correct answer.

Paper pattern:There is no section wise break-up in the question paper. The test covers questions from areas like Calculus (Differential and Integral), Co-ordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Real Analysis, Differential Equations, Modern Algebra, Matrices,Probability, Statistics, Theory of equations, Logical Ability, Fundamentals of Computers,Elements of Data structures, Computer organization and C language.
